In the midst of battle is a small project I've been developing in the last weeks after watching Lord of the Rings and getting inspired to create a tool that would've helped me to give life to battles and skirmishes for my RPG sessions. 

In this short document, you'll find rules, tables, and all you might need as a GM or solo player to set the scene and act out battles of any size and length, plus some really sweet illustrations from the public domain. 

As always, I hope you'll enjoy it and any feedback is appreciated. If this gets seen and people ask for it I might work on a 2.0 version with rules for creating siege scenarios, more tables, and more illustrations, maybe even some original ones. But until then...
